WARD OF DRAUGHTON
The 1619 will of William Ward of Draughton in the parish of
Skipton mentions “my grand childe
Henry Goot”. This allows the testator to be identified as the father of
Elizabeth Ward who married Christopher Gott at Skipton in 1612, although
Elizabeth and Christopher themselves are not named in the will.
