[2] Margaret is named in the nuncupative will of her husband (National Archives, PROB 11/259) and in the baptism record of their son John.

[8] The 1723 will of Margaret Chibbot (Kresen Kernow, AP/C/2955) mentions her sister Mary Petherick. The 1702 will of John Chibbot (Kresen Kernow, AP/C/2444) mentions that Mary was already married but does not name her husband. However, it does mention a granddaughter Margaret Podricke or Pedricke, and Margaret, daughter of James and Mary Petherick, was baptised at Morwenstow in 1687. James and Mary also had children named Honor and Damaris, both names used in the Chibbot family.

The bridegroom’s name is given as “Charles Waring” but Charles Warmington of Morwenstow who wrote his will in 1702 had a wife named Joan (Kresen Kernow, AP/W/1661), and the marriage of Joan Warmington, widow, and Thomas Carlyne, in 1714, then fits with the will of Margaret Chibbot which mentions “Jone Carline my Sister” (Kresen Kernow, AP/C/2955).
