Notes
The
parents of Ann (Brown) Ramsay are given in her 1859 death record as William
Brown and Janet Brander. However, this appears to be an error for Alexander
Brown and Janet Brander, who are the parents in the 1775 baptism record of Ann
Brown. There was also a Peter Brown who died at Urquhart in 1858, whose death
record identifies his parents as Alexander Brown and Janet Brander.
Numbers
28 and 29 were probably James Allan and Elspeth Duncan. See www.findagrave.com/memorial/191184144/alexander-allan.
However, the inscription is not clear enough to read from the image and it is
not apparent whether the details in the accompanying text are all taken from
the stone.
