Notes

William, Prince of Wales, is descended from Charles, 2nd Earl Grey (see Evans, Ancestry of Diana).

The parentage of Margaret Pearson (number 9) is unclear. However, the will of John Grey (number 8) mentions his “Sister in Law Mrs Grace Peirson” and his niece Grace Weddell, daughter of William Weddell of Mousen. The will of Jane Weddle of Mousen, widow, mentions “my Nephew Caleb Pierson”.
