[4] It is apparent from the wills of Pascoe and Grace that their daughter Alice married a Nosworthy. His forename may have been William as Grace left legacies to “William Norsworthy children”.

She might be “Agnes the wife of John Rennells” who was buried at Torbryan on 5 Feb 1653/54. There was also an Agnes Whiteway who married Thomas Cooke at Staverton on 18 May 1647, but that could be Agnes, daughter of Robert Whiteway, who was baptised there on 24 May 1618.

According to Tricia Whiteaway, Whiteway Family History (Exeter, 2010), 39-40, Thomas married Ann or Agnes Bevis at Buckfastleigh in 1685, but I have not found the marriage in the parish registers. Ann, wife of Thomas Whiteway, was buried at Staverton on 4 Mar 1732/33.
