MEAGER OF LISKEARD
Nathaniel Meager of Liskeard was one of the appraisers of the inventory of William Rundell of St Pinnock in 1749. These Meagers may be of the same family as those who lived in the parish of Breage, where the names James, Nathaniel and Grace occur.

Glencross, eds., Cornwall Parish Registers: Marriages, vol. 8 (London, 1905), 65, the bride’s surname is transcribed as “Pullings”, but it appears to be Pickings. There do not seem to be other Pullings entries in the parish around the relevant time but various records show individuals with the surname Pickens, Pickings or variants.
