RENTON OF HAREWOOD

 

An Issabell, daughter of George Rainton of Lofthouse, was baptised at Harewood in 1642 and there are other early Renton/Rainton entries in the Harewood parish registers.

RENTON

 

1          GEORGE RENTON of Lofthouse, Harewood, Yorkshire, died on 4 June 1691 and was buried on 5 June 1691 at Harewood.[1] He married on 27 June 1681 at St. Peter, Leeds, ISABEL PROCTOR.[2] Isabel later married, on 1 May 1693 at Harewood, Michael Hawke, and she was buried on 22 March 1728/29 at Harewood.[3]

                                ii              ANNE RENTON, bap 14 Jun 1685, Harewood.[4]

 

2          SAMUEL RENTON of Lofthouse, farmer, was baptised on 14 May 1682 at Harewood[5] and buried on 26 July 1750 at Baildon.[6] Samuel married on 18 May 1704 at Harewood, MARGARET BRADLEY.[7] Margaret was buried on 2 October 1740 at Harewood.[8]
