FRANKLAND OF YEADON

The parentage of the George Frankland who married Ann Holmes in 1723 is unclear. There was a George, son of George Frankland, baptised at St. Peter, Leeds, in 1695, and a George, son of Michael Frankland, baptised at Ilkley in 1699. There were also Quaker Franklands in Yeadon, with James Frankland and Mary Grimshaw being married in 1687 and William Frankland and Grace Marshall in 1691.

FRANKLAND

GEORGE FRANKLAND of Yeadon, Yorkshire, labourer, was buried on 3 May 1742 at Guiseley.[1] He married on 2 May 1723 at Guiseley, ANN HOLMES.[2] Ann was buried on 14 June 1767 at Guiseley.[3]
